About Etihad
Etihad Airways is the flag carrier and the second-largest airline (after Emirates) of the United Arab Emirates(UAE). Although we don’t have any Etihad flight reviews available right now, flying on this Middle Eastern carrier definitely on our bucket list. Etihad’s speciality are super-luxurious The Residence and First Apartment cabins, which are exclusive to their Airbus A380, but even their normal First and Business Classes are considered as one of the best in the industry. There is also a separate bar area on Etihad A380, called The Lobby, located on the Upper Deck between First and Business Class. Qatar Airways has similar space on their Airbus A380, which we reviewed in 2017.
Transportation From the Airport
If you want to minimize the hassle at the airport, our transportation favorite is Blacklane service (Use the voucher code M68JVJX3 to save 20% on your first ride booking). It operates in over 300 cities worldwide, has 60 minutes of free wait time at the airport and offers flexible cancellation options. A bit more economical option is Uber which we also use regularly.
Hotels
If you end up booking these Etihad campaign flights, don’t forget the possibility of a free 2-night stopover in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The hotels participating this campaign are:
- Radisson Blu Yas Island
- Holiday Inn Downtown
- Crowne Plaza Yas Island
- Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Centre.
- Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi
- Le Royal Meridien
- Ramada Corniche
And flying with Etihad, you probably want the accommodation in your final destination (in this case Bangkok) to be luxurious as well – so our recommendation goes to Waldof Astoria Bangkok, which is part of Hilton Group or St. Regis Bangkok from the Marriott side. Both are excellent choices, but you still might want to read other travelers’ opinions from Tripadvisor before making the booking.
